ABOUT LAPIERRE
LaPierre Cosmetics is an eco-chic beauty brand that encourages the pursuit of love, family, friendship and memorable experiences. The company was inspired by the founder's mother, Jacquelyn Marie LaPierre. She was a woman who embodied elegance and class loved to polish and take care of her nails. For years, she created many fond memories with her daughter, over a bottle of nail polish. In 2013, LaPierre was diagnosed with lung cancer and was limited to the brands of nail polish she could use. Shortly after, her daughter created a '21 FREE' brand that LaPierre could use, while also creating a legacy.

WHAT IS SHREK-ISH?
“Shrek-ish" is LaPierre Cosmetics latest collaborative project with DreamWorks Shrek. Creating this synergistic collection was such a thrilling, exciting and honorable experience. We are proud to introduce 8 luxurious lacquers inspired by the iconic fairytale, Shrek. This set features lacquers inspired by some of your favorite characters from the film: Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Dragon and much more. VEGAN
NON-TOXIC
CRUELTY FREE
To keep things simple and sweet, vegan beauty means the absence of animal ingredients. Which means, we haven’t used fish scales for extra shine in our lacquers, boiled / crushed beetles for our red “What The Farquaad?” lacquer or even animal fats to thicken our formulas. So, whilst we promise to provide you with a continuum of great products, we just don't think said products should come at the expense of animals around us.
Beauty brands everywhere are cutting out toxic ingredients from their formulas. We don’t want to have to make that change later on, we want to push the change now. So, we’ve excluded toxins and are considered a “10 FREE” beauty brand. Which means, our polishes do not contain dibutyl phthalate, TPHP, toluene, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, parabens, and tert-butyl hydroperoxide.
Most do not know that vegan brands, while being completely vegan can still practice cruelty. Cruelty-free actually refers to a product that doesn't test on animals. In other words, it's possible for a vegan item, that doesn’t use animal ingredients to still test on animals. We’ve made sure not to do both and are actively working on stopping processes that result in the harm organisms as well as their ecosystems.
